What are brand guidelines and why are they essential?
Brand guidelines are a centralized source for all evergreen (long term) brand related information. As our brand evolves it is important that our identity remains consistent. The content within this site ensures alignment across all touch-points.
As our brand evolves it is also important for these guidelines to evolve, grow, and adapt to meet the needs of the brand. While these things may evolve over time this site will always remain the central source for the most up-to-date branding information.
Our brand ecosystem
Our brand guidelines are informed by our Brand Purpose and Brand Lens. Together these elements all work to align and focus our brand output. The brand guidelines also serve as a home to host our purpose and lens for reference.
A resource for everyone.
This resource was designed and built to be accessible. It’s for anyone who interfaces with the brand or works with brand assets. Internal, external, vendors, and contractors.
If you create presentations, products, movies, events, images, or anything related to our brand at all this will be a helpful resource.
What type of content is in the guidelines?
Long term brand assets, guidance and direction. Brand history, important files, documentation, and how-to’s.
What type of content is NOT in the guidelines?
Annual or seasonal creative direction. Short-term documents. Fonts. Photo assets.
Guidelines vs. Digital Asset Management
Seasonal documents and photography are left out intentionally. These things move and change too quickly to keep up to date within the guidelines. We have a robust Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool, Bynder ↗, that houses all of our dynamic and seasonal content.
